Originally our product line was of custom knives purchased directly from the maker and made available for sale. The concept being we would seek out the most desirable designs, order and wait the months to years for the knife to be made, and then make available. In doing so we were able to provide the most sought after knives with no wait. However our supply could not come close to meeting demand.

Around this same time there was a boom in precious metals which coincided with the recession. Many in our customer base were interested in these products also. However it was not possible for a business of our size to stock the wide variety and quantity of precious metal products that our customers needed. Therefore we partnered with various affiliates which offered a core line of products to provide precious metals at the lowest possible price. As the recession passed and the world become somewhat more stable the value of those products dropped significantly. That is not something we felt easy with. Therefore we re-examined our product line to insure the products we sell should better retain their value or increase in value over time.
